Science day was a great success at Sherbourne fields. The day celebrated by hundreds of primary and secondary schools all over the country aimed to enhance pupils knowledge and understanding of science and engineering.
Sherbourne celebrated a Science day on March 13th 2014 as part of National Science and Engineering week. All students were off timetable for the day and were involved in several different workshops throughout the day. Some of the workshops included were; float your boat, magnets, paper planes and rockets!! The children voted the rocket sessions the best. We also had a very special visitor who wowed the whole school with his scientific fun and games. His name is Ian B.Dunne. We think the B stands for BONKERS :) He was a huge hit with staff and students on the day, we will never forget his electrified Barbie hair!! we strongly recommend him, his link is http://www.doscience.co.uk
He HIGHLY praised our students at Sherbourne and said he would gladly come back to us as he loved being here so much.
Huge thanks to all of your children for doing us proud yet again.
