Pioneer Centre Residential BLOG

Blog from the 2016 residential at the Pioneer Centre

We have arrived safely and in time to eat our lunch and unpack and have an explore.

We then took part in orienteering, they were all stars and used their knowledge of north, east, south and west to find places around the site.

We then had a quick change and went to enjoy the disco.

After that we enjoyed a huge tea and visited the shop.

We then returned to the lodge for a quick play and then back to bed.

Here are some of the photos that show us in action during Day 1.

On Thursday we started with a delicious breakfast.

We then entertained each other by learning some circus skills and performing a big top show.

We then became Robin Hood and took part in archery. Ali and Kian were excellent marksmen! Both scoring a bullseye, this was excellent fun.

After lunch we took on the challenge of the high towers and won.

We all had a go at rock climbing on the wall and Aryan, Ali and Kian made it all the way to the top. Everyone was so brave.

After that we had to abseil down, which was very scary but we did it. It was amazing.

We will show some video in the next blog!

We then had our tea, showered and went to bed!

Day three, our final day!

We enjoyed our breakfast and then went and had some great fun at the big bounce where we explored an adventure course which was really tricky!

After that we had a quick go at fencing, where we wore all the right outfit to not get hurt and managed to explore using the foils.

We then headed home to be greeted by all our friends at Sherbourne.

It was a great time away.
