On Monday 2nd November, 10 students from the sixth form  went to the Dhammatalaka Pagoda in Birmingham (a Buddhist Temple) for a 'Beliefs and Values' module in their ASDAN Silver course.

We met a resident Buddhist called Nagasena (Naga) who told us all about the Buddhist religion, their temple, and their way of life.  We had a tour around the buildings and learned how to meditate.

The students all thought the trip was fantastic, and are really excited about writing their study on Buddhism over the next few weeks.
